How long is a security hackathon?
Hackathon sessions run for 8 hours – usually as a pair of 4-hour sessions over 2 days. Before each hackathon, we’ll spend time planning the session with you before we prepare the security hackathon playbook and set up demos and tools.
How large are the teams in a hackathon?
You can include up to 5 participants, although 2-3 is often a good fit (depending on a session’s focus). Loptr’s hackathon team typically includes 2 consultants. A Loptr project coordinator will coordinate each session.
What are the hackathon deliverables?
Each security hackathon is hands-on so a large part of what you get is instruction and experience. We’ll provide a playbook for each session that provides guidance, offers step-by-step instructions for exercises, and shares references and links. After each session, we’ll also provide a summary report – this is a great way to share security hackathon results with management.
